Neuroscience postdocs at Pfizer pursue basic biology around novel drug targets and disease-relevant molecular, synaptic, circuit, and behavioral mechanisms. Major disease programs include Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, among others. In addition, postdocs at Pfizer get exposed to the art and science of drug discovery, with first hand ability to interact with scientists working to develop new medicines.
